Welcome to our website! As we have the ability to list over one million items on our website (our selection changes all of the time), it is not feasible for a company our size to record and playback the descriptions on every item on our website. However, if you have a disability we are here to help you. Please call our disability services phone line at (316) 265-3355 during regular business hours and one of our kind and friendly personal shoppers will help you navigate through our website, help conduct advanced searches, help you choose the item you are looking for with the specifications you are seeking, read you the specifications of any item and consult with you about the products themselves. There is no charge for the help of this personal shopper for anyone with a disability. Finally, your personal shopper will explain our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, and help you place an order if you so desire.

Our Story

Like many new business ventures, the Razook’s story began with a dream. As a first generation Lebanese American, Kenneth “Curly” Razook was brought up with a strong foundation of family and home. With family and home being the center of Curly’s world, opening a home furnishings store seemed natural. In May of 1954, Curly opened Razook’s Furniture at Central & St. Paul in Wichita. In 1973, Razook’s moved to its current location just east of Old Town in downtown Wichita.

It wasn’t long before Razook’s Furniture became a household name in Wichita and South Central Kansas. Customers appreciated the comfort and style of Razook’s, and Curly made sure people could buy his furniture at affordable prices. Over the years, the Razook’s name became synonymous with quality, becoming an authorized dealer of such brands as Flexsteel, Smith Brothers, Craftmaster, Bernhardt, Canadel, Hooker and many others.

Curly’s son Bob grew up in the business, for years spending time at Razook’s, eventually taking on duties and working with customers. In 1979, after years of serving customers alongside his father, Bob stepped into the role of owner. Like Curly, Bob loved spending time at the business and understood the highly personal process of helping his customers select home furnishings. Customers became family to Bob.

Though Bob left us in 2024, his presence will always be felt at Razook’s Home Furnishings through his wife Sharon and daughters Caroline and Maddie. Razook’s remains a family-owned furniture store. Long-time manager Chad Aikin and wife Jaimie lead day-to-day operation and continue the commitment of exceptional customer service.

We look forward to serving you at Razook’s Home Furnishings, Wichita’s family-owned furniture store since 1954.
